Children's Patterns From the 1950's and 60's (and one from the 70's)

My mother had the pattern pictured above and the three below in various sizes to fit from a few months old to about three or four years old.  She made them for my brothers and later for my kids.  There's no telling how many little john-johns she made in her lifetime.  After she was gone, I even found some cut out ones in the closet in her sewing room.

She also made the dresses from these patterns for me.  I had several from the pattern above.

For more formal occasions an Eton suit:
The 70's:

This is still a nice dress style:

And that's about all the retro children's sewing patterns I have except for the big box of smocked and heirloom style patterns from the great heirloom sewing boom of the 80's (which my mother found her niche in and excelled at).

I'm so happy to see your post! I've been thinking of you. I hope that you didn't have too much (or any really) damage from the storm.

I thought of you too! Atlanta wasn't hit as hard though was it? We lost power for a short time and seem to be in a pocket that wasn't hit too badly except for a dozen huge trees down the road that were knocked down --they were in a wooded area behind some houses and strangely managed not to hit anything. It really is a mess around here.
